ABOUT US

Agape Fellowship exists for the glory of God.
We pursue the glory of God by pursuing Christlikeness in all of life, seeking to make disciples of all nations, and working to transform our community – all by the power of God’s Word.

What to expect at Agape Fellowship.

We are a group of bible-believing Christians who seek to love God and love others well. We would love to have you join us on Sunday morning to worship God together. When you visit the church at Agape Fellowship you will meet a group of people who seek to honor Christ as Lord, to learn God’s Word, to proclaim the gospel, and to love others. Our worship service starts at 11 am and typically goes until 12:15 pm. The worship service includes a variety of songs, some old and some new, an expository sermon from God’s Word, and the Lord’s Supper. Each week after the worship service we have a potluck-style lunch in our fellowship hall that everyone is welcome to enjoy. The fellowship each week provides a wonderful time for building relationships, praying for one another, and reflecting on what God is doing among us.

What do you believe?

Our church’s doctrinal statements are the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and the Nashville Statement on Biblical Sexuality

What should I wear?

Wear whatever is comfortable and modest. Most people dress very casually.

What about my kids?

Kids are most welcome at Agape Fellowship! God has blessed this church with many children and young families, some days the children outnumber the adults! To best support the discipleship of children, they are invited to worship God with their families during the worship service. Before giving the sermon, pastor Nathan invites the kids to the front for a brief personalized children’s message. “What about when my young kids are fussy?” Don’t worry about it. Babies are precious even when they’re fussy. And for when it’s needed, we do have a cry room for parents with young babies that is set up with a live feed of the sanctuary.

What about Sunday School and bible studies?

Before our worship service on Sundays, we do have a Sunday School hour from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. We have a class for younger children, older children, and one for adults. During the week we also do a Wednesday bible study at 6:30 pm going through the book of Genesis. Periodically we do other small group bible studies or home groups.

Will my kids be safe at Agape Fellowship?

Most certainly! Anyone at Agape who works with children in any capacity, whether in Sunday School or any program, has been thoroughly vetted. Our process includes a minimum of a 6-month waiting period, background checks, and an interview. And there will always be a minimum of two adults in a room with children. We care very deeply about the safety of all children.

What if I have questions about the church?

Questions are good! You are welcome to ask questions. Whether it is a question about the church, about what the bible teaches, or about anything else, we would love to help find answers to your questions. You may reach out directly to pastor Nathan ahead of time if you’d like or find him after the worship service. Contact us if you’d like to ask a question right now.

"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. " Colossians 3:12-14

“This group of people that make up agape have been rock solid. It is easy to say that agape fellowship is a family and would give the shirts off their back to help those around them. Definitely recommend agape fellowship. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I give them 10 stars haha.”
